Pink Foot on Snow
Pink Foot says hello again!
Howya doin’? I’m fine, but unfortunately everybody else around me has caught the flu :-(. Hopefully I don’t get it.
Anyway, I actually wanted to go for a skiing trip today since the weather forecast was promising and snow has fallen lately, but I decided not to go after hearing in the news that all German highways will be packed with holiday travellers today going back home because holidays are over and the kids gotta go back to school. Bad luck for me! Maybe I can go for a ride next Saturday. We’ll see. In the meantime I’ll just post some pictures of another skiing trip I’ve been on two weeks ago.
The skiing trip has taken place at the Spitzingsee in the South of Germany. The snow and the weather have been great - all sunshine and not a single cloud. Wow! It’s been my first day on a snowboard for about two years now. And that is really a shame for a snowboarder living in Munich, which is actually right next to several ski areas, for more than two years. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed this trip so much that I have made it to one of my New Year’s resolutions that I will go skiing more often again in 2008. I can only recommend this to all of you. Believe me, there is hardly anything better than drinking a cold Weissbier, sitting on the terrace of a ski alp holding your face into the sun - and of course the skiing itself is some fun :-P.
So here are some snapshots taken on Pink Foot’s latest skiing trip.
That’s me sitting in the middle of a ski-run, having a break from the fantastic downhill ride.
In the next picture you can see the great view we had on our day out of town going for a ski ride.
And that’s the one and only Zeljko, wearing an overall that is supposedly 2 and a half years older than me.
No offense pal, I’m just kidding. You look awesome in your disguise. Top shot baby, shake your a.. !
And some more pictures from the great view we had on top of the mountain, while riding down the ski-runs.
That pic was taken while sitting on the patio of a ski hut, looking down the ski-run and enjoying a Weissbier.
And one more landscape picture:
Enjoy your weekend! Matze alias Pink Foot
